About Wilhelmina
Wilhelmina Stöcker is a self-taught artist. She was born and raised in The Netherlands and started her conscious artistic journey when she was about 12 years old. She moved to the U.S. in 2001, after a short stay in British Columbia, Canada. Since then, she has lived in various states before she found her way to Guthrie, Oklahoma in early 2011.
She believes that everyone radiates who they are, in life and in their creations. Her inspiration comes from her life experiences, the changes she’s been through, and the lessons she’s learned, which is why she always refer to her work as from soul to canvas.
Every painting she creates represents different stages and emotions in life. Their subject matter and the energy entwined with them are designed to inspire and guide people through their own phases of life.
All of her current paintings are created with acrylic paint. She also creates commissioned paintings upon request, contact her for more information when interested.
